Redeemer Church was planted in September 2022. Jon Link and Travis Dutton felt God calling them to plant a church in the Treasure Valley. Both Jon and Travis were on staff at Rockharbor Church. During that time and through prayer and conversation, the Elders and Staff Leadership Team of Rockharbor Church sent them to plant Redeemer Church together.
Jon Link and his wife, Jen, have been part of the Treasure Valley since 2015. He was on staff at Rockharbor Church overseeing Family Ministries and then Adult Ministries since 2017, while also serving as an elder since 2016. In the spring of 2022, the Lord placed a calling on Jon’s heart to plant Redeemer Church in the Treasure Valley as a Rockharbor Church plant.
Jon has been married to his wife Jen for 20 years and has four children - Mason, Camden, Eli, and Ivy. He has also been on staff in an executive role at Harvest Bible Chapel in Rockford, IL and was the President of the Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Institute for fifteen years. He holds his Master of Physical Therapy degree from Southwest Baptist University and his Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University.
Travis Dutton followed God’s direction to the Treasure Valley in 2017 as he began serving as the High School Director at Rockharbor Church. Prior to this he taught at Hope Christian Schools and served as a Student Pastor at Sagebrush Church, both located in Albuquerque, NM. In the five years of life in Idaho, he has developed a greater hunger for God’s Word, a desire for unity within the church, and a love for this Valley. While continuing to wrestle with God’s plan for his life, it became apparent that God was also stirring in Jon Link’s life. Through prayer and conversation, the Elders and Staff Leadership Team of Rockharbor Church graciously decided to send he and Jon to plant Redeemer Church together.
Travis has been married to his wife Brittany for 14 years and they have three sons – Jace, Reece, and Cade. He holds his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of the Southwest as well as a Master of Theological Studies degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
